At the request of Don Henderson, a former President of the Florida Precasters Association and a longtime booster of the Boy Scouts of America, George Southworth, President of Concrete Impressions of Florida, agreed to donate soundwalls for a Boy Scout Fort Complex that will house among other activities BB Gun and Bow and Arrow Ranges. George contacted Bryan Trimbath, CEO of LEAP to assist in the engineering of the soundwalls and Bryan readily agreed to provide LEAP’s serves gratis as part of the charitable contribution. The project involves 436 linear feet of wall with a split face block texture on one side and a broom finish on the other as well as 28 columns with ¾” fractured fin texture.

Total Precast Makes Dollars and Sense For Developers and Owners

Deerwood Office Complex - The owner originally used tilt-up construction then converted to a load-bearing architectural precast system. This allowed the owner to have the desired aesthetics at a more economical price .  The owner built at least two more buildings with the same system

The Acquilius Condominium Complex  - The first structure  was built utilizing a hollowcore floor system on load-bearing masonry.  Masonry created a major delay in the construction schedule which caused the owner to convert to a total precast system for his second condominium tower with a much faster ROI. 3 new buildings are in design for our client Gate Concrete Products for the same owner utilizing the total precast system with two more in the works.ks
